Dr Nicholas Gant

An exercise scientist with expertise in physiology and neuroscience, Dr Nick Gant is Director of the Exercise Neurometabolism Laboratory at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
His group study exercise and brain function in extreme environments and are particularly interested in hypoxia.
Nick’s laboratory hosts a programme of research investigating carbon dioxide scrubber performance and safety in rebreather diving, in collaboration with Professor Simon Mitchell.
